Traditional Chinese Medicine views each patient’s condition as unique rather than classifying patients into broad disease categories. As no two people are the same, each patient an acupuncturist sees receives treatment that is individualized, holistically encompassing each person’s particular physical symptoms along with the emotional and social implications of illness. We work frequently with yoga teachers, Cal Poly athletes, runners, cyclists, and lifters. We incorporate traditional acupuncture techniques with Western orthopedic examination to assess injuries and create a treatment strategy.
